My Sprint Hero has been rooted since a few months before Sprint released 2.1. I'm running Fresh 2.3.3 and it runs much faster than the stock ROM. I will eventually move Cyanogen 6 to get my 2.2 fix.

I had a 1994 LeBaron Convertible as my second car when I was 17. It is the most reliable car I have ever owned. Had one problem the entire time I had it (thermostat). I finally sold it with 295,000 miles on it. My best friend still has his '92, with 380,000 miles (although it is not his primary car anymore).

Any other Srint Hero owners getting a OTA update message today?

My Saab can get that downhill after resetting the computer.

@tonyola: I had this on my Explorer and I miss it, especially when I go to a park for a run or to the beach.

@IN THE FACE!: Try heading out of Leavenworth on 92, then getting on 45 heading into Missouri. That stretch between Leavenworth and Parkville, MO is pretty nice. The first part is flat along the river valley then it twists through the uphill.
