Woo Palace!

The exit song for my wedding was 'Two of Us'. All the songs (pre-ceremony, processional, recessional) were Beatles songs, but that's my favorite (and most appropriate) so it was saved for last. Also, 'Something' was our first dance, which is her favorite.

Max and Brad were the two best characters on Happy Endings in my opinion. Dave started off terrible but by the time he discovered he was 1/16 Navajo and got the terrible highlights in his hair he became great. Great in a, 'I would never want to hang out with him but love watching him' way.

My wife and I were very excited to see Derrick, and were disappointed at how brief his scene was. We also saw from Dennah's subplot that the show needs one more friend so that there can be pair off's for everyone (like Happy Endings). The only solution I see is to have Derrick fill that spot.

Is Derrick appearing as Derrick!?! Because that is A-mah-zing. If so, I hope there is more crossover. I watch an episode of Happy Endings every day, but I need to know what is going on with them now.

All I want to know is when will their friends Brad and Jane be visiting from Chicago?

Not only do I re-dub New Girl in my head to refer to Coach as Brad, I also make my brain replace Nick with Max in certain situations.

I find John Mayer to be perfectly fine. Not great, but fine. In my 20's I listened to him on and off. This song in particular is okay, and most girls I knew liked it a lot. I would not say it's his best though.

I'm picking Valentine 'cause on the morning line, the guy has got him figured at five to nine.

I don't remember the last time I read an article that was this wrong. It sounds like the author missed the entire point and tone of the song. I hope Spotify has Bat out of Hell so I can listen to the whole thing straight through this morning.

She was good in Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

Two things. First, Swiss Army Romance came out right when I started college and was huge. I still love most of that album despite it not being similar to anything else I normally listen to. It may not be great, but I like it.

I think we are on the same page in our opinions for the most part.

I think the comment is still accurate in that most musicals don't have a complex number like Christmas Bells since you named several that are know for it. That means the vast majority don't do it. Very few shows that I have done attempt it. I personally love the Christmas Bells sequence.

Where does one find that version? I see some results on youtube, but is there a complete version for download somewhere?

You should get the filmed stage production that was shot at the final performance. It's pretty great. I think Amazon has it.

Because it's great? At least some productions are. The production at the Kansas City Rep from last year was great. Hopefully that version will spread out so more people can see it.

The movie is so terrible, however the filmed stage production from the final performance on Broadway is great.

For me it hit at the right time and helped me expand my overall views of acceptance as well. I still love the music and the format of the show. I don't think it's a bad show, it's just not as relevant now. In '95 it was quite edgy and relevant for a pre-widespread internet world.
