May I assume that you are male? I think we ladies may have a harder time keeping positive given the serious threat to reproductive rights/bodily autonomy.

fuck that noise. Al Gore was great.

My old cat (RIP) would aggressively purr and sit in my lap when I would cry really hard. It was so sweet.

I did too! I look forward to her work on criminal justice reform.

I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch any speeches yet. They’ll either make me cry uncontrollably or make me throw my computer out the window, neither of which feels appealing.

not to mention the whole “some people can’t handle it over there, hence PTSD” bullcrap.

I heard part of an interview w/ him on NPR yesterday and it was... weird...

I never thought of that before. That’s delightful. Your roommate’s idea is bad and they should feel bad. Jukes are fucking repulsive. There are so many mini SUVs to choose from... good lord.

no one in the GOP seems to quite know what sarcasm means, to boot.

One thing my dad mentioned (republican) is that the state dept staff in Benghazi asked for more security for the area several times (3 times I think) and that nothing was done to provide more security. There were good reasons not to turn the non-embassy into a fortress though, besides the fact that the requests for

jesus i just looked it up. holy hell. will never use that word again.

i had no idea. wow. good to know!

Yeah, I read about this recently. I chalk this up to Ted Danson feeling a little racially invincible b/c he had a black gf. The thing I read said that Whoopi dared him to do it and she reportedly LOVED his performance. She’s weird, he made a BAD call to trust his WOC gf, and seemingly massively regretted it. I

combination of availability bias and negativity bias. If you dislike something, you notice it more when you see it. If you notice something more, you have a perception that it is more pervasive than it actually is. Happens all day erryday. For example: I hate the Nissan Juke. It’s the ugliest car to hit roads in

I’m only aware of ethical issues where AI is involved. Did you have something else in mind?
