Ebert's review of Oscar says that the first 20 minutes are among the worst "first 20 minutes of a movie" he had ever seen. Then it recovered and he loved the rest of the movie. Basically he raves about everything but Stallone.
Pat probably had the best portrayal of anyone in those sketches.

Why bother making this movie? The CBC network in Canada already dramatized Winnie the Pooh's creation in a much shorter time.
Maybe I'm misremembering, but viewers weren't laughing at Pat, they were laughing at the people around her who were trying (and failing) to figure out if Pat was a man or a woman.
