If the movie doesn't start with a voiceover saying that line, or that line appearing written onscreen, then the movie will have failed before it even gets started.

"I'd like to talk to you about The Lindy Hop Initiative."

I could not forgive it for leaving out the hundreds of pages from the book about the Lindy Hop.

The funny thing is the movie's ending *is* in the story - it's on the second-last page where the protagonist says that he has a gun with just enough bullets for everyone in his group except him, and that if worse comes to worse he'll do what needs to be done and then figure out what to do about himself. But he's just

Considering the book is just one giant monologue by the title character, any adaptation would be very different from the book.

There are dozens of us. Dozens!

Even though the review of the first episode says "There is a separate review for the entire series, these reviews are only for individual episodes, please refrain from giving away spoilers". And the reviewer himself can't even follow that last part.

1) He got a couple of her Darwin questions wrong. That, plus her love of science, which tells her that you can't live past 100+ years and not age.

If you've only watched the first 2 seasons, and 2-3 episodes of season 3, then you have no proof that seasons 3-5 are worse. You quote one review from Vox; I could easily find a review from another site that says that season 3 is amazing.

Olivia Dunham!

I'm often tempted to blurt out a movie title, its main stars, production company, and year it was released to resolve a situation.

Just like the actress who plays Alison is making a movie and is unavailable to the show.

I don't agree with you about McHattie, but I can't help but upvote any comment that mentions The Littlest Hobo.

"Bleep!"

"but she struggles to make Elektra convincing when she’s in a more sentimental, vulnerable mode."
"but it’s obvious from the get go that Elektra is acting, and not very well."
"the stiffness of Yung’s performance makes for an underwhelming introduction to the character."
"The Karen and Matt plot has been rushed this

"First Matt blows off Elektra as coldly as possible, with a real suggestion of hatred" As we see in the flashbacks, she tries to get him to kill someone and leaves when he refuses. I haven't seen later episodes yet so I don't know if there are more flashbacks, but this is enough for present-day Matt to feel this way

Phil is Ben's nephew, not son. That way, both Phil and Peter Parker have/had an "Uncle Ben".

"I can’t really think of two characters who seem like they have less to talk about." This is true when they are in the fancy restaurant, because they are in a setting that neither of them is comfortable in. But when they leave and go to the Indian restaurant they both open up and have a much more back-and-forth

"Owsley should have taken over when Fisk went down. He could have been a good wild card this season."

Now I want to see D'Onofrio trying to get through a doorway but hitting the frame.
