The majority of people think that if an apocalypse type scenario happened, they'd be prepared and know what to do. But the truth is that they would be completely unprepared and unsure what the next step to take would be.

Exactly! I'm amazed by the comments here about how they don't care about Luke and this episode. Luke is the main character's husband and she just found out that he is still alive. June cares about Luke, so if we care about June, we should care about Luke too.

Luke is the main character's husband, who just found out that he is still alive. I'd say it had a lot to do with THT.

Actually, Luke had to have the situation explained to him by multiple people, both male and female. There was no mansplaining here.

This whole movie is a Jacob's Ladder situation.

WHAT'S UP JERKS?

He is the husband of the main character. June cares that he is still alive, so if we care about her, we should care about him.

"A lot of the components of Atwood's tale seem very unlikely - the fertility issue caused by pollution - has no grounding in current circumstances."

It might take awhile. For some reason, since last November, the number of Americans wanting to move here has skyrocketed.

They wanted to get more information from him, like how did you make it this far, who helped you, where were you supposed to go from here, etc.

They said that they wanted to interrogate him. He was shot, so they needed an ambulance to keep him alive until they could question him.

Luke is the husband of the main character, and they are both trying to get back to each other. It would be pretty poor storytelling in the series if we didn't have an episode showing what happened to Luke after he and June were separated, and how he was able to get into contact with her years later.

In Canada we installed an underground electric fence along the border. If you're not driving an authorized vehicle, the fence sends out a signal and off the road you go.

You can hear them talking about ice on the radio before the ambulance crashes.

If you miss episode #6 and then go looking for reviews of episode #7, chances are the ep7 review is going to discuss what happened in ep6

Wait, you missed the previous episode, and you're complaining because you read the headline of the following episode's review? Shouldn't you be avoiding any discussion or reviews of that episode until you catch up?

Are they the same pair of glasses? Maybe he only needs them for reading - in the flashbacks they are bifocals so he doesn't remove them and leaves them on all the time so he can use the lower part of the lenses to read. But when he got to Toronto he had lost his glasses and the replacement ones weren't bifocals he

Thanks, Mr. Serling!

"Luke didn't transform into 80s era Bruce Willis."

"June was really the one pushing them forward to get outta there. Him blaming the visas on them not being able to leave earlier and that bit with the photo albums just seemed silly like he hadn't realized the state of the world! I'm fact he only really seems to realize how bad things are when Zoe shows him the hanged
