This is a show where the genesis of the original story was the rape, torture and murder of a teenage girl. Horrible things are going to happen in this show.

It was just weird how Ebert singled out and attacked Lynch here. There have been many films where actresses have had to do embarrassing or humiliating things on film (again, it's called acting), sometimes fully clothed and sometimes naked. I can't remember Ebert attacking those filmmakers as misogynists like he did…
