JUST CALL ME ANGEL OF THE MORNING, ANGEL …
JUST CALL ME ANGEL OF THE MORNING, ANGEL …
Not just a letter. A form letter.
Right, it's completely out of the realm of possibility. Just like 4 years ago the thought of Donald Trump being elected president was completely out of the realm of possibility. Years ago the thought of a state forcing women that had an abortion to have a funeral for their aborted fetus was completely out of the…
"You wrecked Hitler's car! What'd he ever do to you?"
I wouldn't say I'm a deep thinker, but compared to your comments.
Oh, I think it was the same thing that turned off so many commenters. Calling the reviews "dreck", saying an Atwood novel didn't deserve a well acted and nicely paced adaptation, saying this show isn't prescient and the idea of that being ludicrous and how Christianity wouldn't do things like this.
Ha ha, I know you really love me.
In the way that no one likes what you had to say and that a large number of people don't? Yes, I agree.
In a row?
It's quite telling that your comment has no likes and 17 dislikes.
I haven't read the book, but from the series, aren't all women that can still have babies made handmaids? I never got the impression that the reason Offred was made a handmaid was because her husband was still married when they first met. It seems like if the Aunts know anything the handmaids-in-training did…

I heard a story once of a guy whose brother was put in prison for a crime he didn't commit, so the guy did a botched bank robbery on purpose so he'd get sent to the same prison in order to break his brother out.
If Serena did know, her first instinct would probably be that it was Offred's idea or that she was enjoying it. It would never enter her mind that Offred would not enjoy this added relationship with the Commander.
It's a nice reversal on the first ceremony where, once it's done, Offred says that it helps if she lays down afterwards, but Serena tells her to get out and go back to her room. But now she's telling her to go lay down afterwards.
"and even takes Offred to the steps leading up to Nick's apartment, but it's not in the middle of the day (WTF, that's asking to get caught and SJ knows better)"
"Out here, you either get busy living, or get busy dying."
What do you think this is? Got ham?
Where did that come from?
Yes, but from what I know about Tony Stark comics (which I admit isn't a lot), he was always depicted as someone who drank alcohol. A comic character (or real life person) can "become" an alcoholic, so I have no problem with Tony becoming more and more dependent on alcohol until he eventually has to face his own…
