Conversely, there are people who never, ever say sorry or apologize - EVER. These are people who only use the word sorry in "Im sorry you feel that way". Makes me nuts.

Not a complete disaster of a premiere, but close...the 2 best things were that Tara is finally off the show (don't care how), and the scene with Lafayette and James talking and toking.
No Verizon = no purchase for me. I am a Prime lover but that's a dealbreaker.
I don't know, my comment was more about the line about defining the torture porn genre...
4th use: Any employer-owned computer
Great list, but I think the original SAW movie started up the torture porn genre - it came out a year prior to Hostel and (IMO) is a much better horror film.
She is somewhat of an enigma - I find her to be motivating (have done a few of her workout DVDs) but conversely also find her to be intimidating too. Her physique is impressive but she does have (IMO) too much of a masculine vibe. I guess that's what has lead to her appeal/success.
A note about lawn care - SHOP AROUND - I found a massive range of prices to work on my lawn - everywhere from $200 up to $2000. In the end I went with a friends' referral who was in the $500 range (my lawn is very sparse and heavily weeded this season) - so far I am happy with the improvement and treatments. I still…
I buy items at yard sales and flip them on eBay & occasionally Craigslist. I have used eBay for a long time to buy & sell collectibles, but now during the warmer months I go to sales and pick items that I can resell for profit. It's not a tremendous amount of extra income, but it does come in handy between paychecks…
This reminds me of a quote I heard Al Roker say this week - when asked how he felt about Matt Lauer getting paid 5 million+ a year, he said:
A great example of inertial mass - the dog is lighter than the guy but is able to knock him off his feet. Reminds me of the hero cat who body blocked that dog biting the kids leg...
I like this analogy - I am particularly interested in how often people make work the golf balls and the pebbles are family and friends.
The Mountain wasn't dead - probably just a bit in pain from a lance to the side and having his calf sliced in half. Mere flesh wounds to the man who easily killed like 12 people in that scene 2 weeks ago.
Watch - the kids parents will sue the guy in the truck who stopped the insanity. That's the way this crazy world works...not that I agree with it at all - clearly it looked like cops couldn't get a handle on the situation.
How about having to travel on the weekend for work in another state? I am going to have to travel on Sunday afternoon and stay at a hotel in order to be ready at 8AM on Monday at a facility in another state. Expenses will be reimbursed, but what about comp time? I am paid salary - I was told this is "just part of the…
I don't get the backlash about this topic - if you want to do it and can afford it go for it. My sister is a breast cancer survivor and had implants put in after a double mastectomy - people have even judged her!
Gotta love that cat - not only does he body block a much larger dog, he then spins around to make sure the area is clear, then chases after the dog!
Here's something I have noticed recently when selling on eBay - buyers who try to get items or parts for free by saying they are damaged (when they aren't). I have had a few buyers try to get free items by saying that the item doesn't work and/or arrived damaged - when you go through the resolution process via…
1. It's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.
After a really crappy day - seeing this erased a lot of the negative thoughts I was having - it's amazing how animals can do that. What a beautiful dog and kitty - they are clearly best buds.
