Also you can try to clean the temperature sensor - LH had an article a while back about this - I did it on my new dryer and it made a difference after just one year of use - it was gummed up with a film as a result of dryer sheets and detergent residue.

Yup. I bought an iPhone tripod attachment for $8 on eBay and it works great. While it doesn't have the versatility of this piece, I have found that I never use my phone in the various ways the video shows, and even if I did $30 is way too expensive IMO.

I installed Lubuntu on an old Dell laptop last nite - it was A-OK except I found the networking portion isn't part of the install (adding samba shares). It required a bit of command line but is easy enough (thats linux I guess). I put this on so there was something to use when I eBay it later this month.
