I can understand leaving isn't the right choice for everyone, but it was for me. I took a step back and asked what positive things I was getting out of it compared to negative, and that made my choice very clear.

One of the best decisions I made in 2012 was closing down my account. I smile every time I overhear someone talking about some drama caused by something they saw on FB. I don't miss it one bit and enjoy the free time to explore more worthwhile things.
