Yeah, just shows that it’s going to be a while before some tasks are automated.

Could they find 30 people to be professional race marshals? Who would qualify for that job? Firefighters? Paramedics? How much would you have to pay to get quality people?

It’s fine to debate about the styling of the car.

Having a “little V” and a “big V” is confusing. GM, make one V of each car. CT4-V should get the twin turbo V6 and CT5-V should get the V8...preferably the V8 from the new Corvette.

I’m not sure how Alpine it going to make this a success.

We always hear about bad cops but hardly ever hear about good ones. It’s the same for teachers.

The problem is loopholes. Engineers are great at finding loopholes and that can allow one team to dominate. Look at what Braun did with the double diffuser.

The track is great to drive but probably will not produce a great race. Unless there is a little rain. But the forecast is clear for Sunday.

I’m sure the drivers will look for wind indications like a flag. Knowing the wind speed and direction, in real time, can help the drivers know how their car will behave in the turns.

Why do we need any more “Raptors”?

EVs are not inherently soulless. It happens that all the EV currently on the market are soulless.  

I am a little puzzled by you (and others) who hate EVs. There is only one thing to hate about EVs; they are boring. But that can apply to ICE cars too.

In the US, people don’t drive responsibly.

Sure...as long as we all wear helmets, have a roll cage in our cars and we wear 6 point racing harnesses with HANS device.
