EVs are not inherently soulless. It happens that all the EV currently on the market are soulless.
I am a little puzzled by you (and others) who hate EVs. There is only one thing to hate about EVs; they are boring. But that can apply to ICE cars too.

WRX is another great, fun, not to expensive car. I used to autocross a WRX wagon. Great times!

The car makers can do that and someone will figure out a hack and put it on the internet. Give the internet a couple of months and it will be out of the bag.
