The only way for Chinese cars to make it in the US is for Chinese car manufactures to do something no one else has done. Maybe it’s quality (not any time soon) or price (not feasible in the current economic climate).

There is no middle ground. No longer can you say “I’m not racist.”
We’ve got to talk about stuff like this. We can’t ignore it any longer.
I don’t really like pick ups unless I’m hauling something.
I autocrossed a 2002 WRX for 6 years. 227 hp and awd is a lot of fun.
If there is a computer, it will be hackable. Seriously, give a good coder a week and they will be able to gain access to the car’s computer and unlock whatever you want.
Cool build. $20,000 is way too much.
I’ve been to two races at the NYC circuit. The racing and the atmosphere are great. You should check it out.
The V series cars are really great. I’m still driving a 2005 Cts-v. It hauls groceries, three kids and ass. It does all 3 really well. And it has “only” 400 hp, not 556 or 640 like the 2nd and 3rd gen cars do.
Until non car people consider Caddy equal to BMW, Merc and Audi, they will struggle. It’s a long road for Caddy to be considered equal to the European luxury car makers, but they have to start somewhere.
I don’t really like trucks but I’d buy that one.
There is no reason a garage door pull needs to be tied in a noose.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall. WTF are they going to say?
I generally agree but this could be a good truck for work. Not as a daily grocery getter.
You are right about pricing. EVs are still “luxury” or “Premium” vehicles. Once EVs are like a Civic or Camry, then all EV related things will take off.
Neutral:
I don’t agree with everything you wrote but your fourth point seems like a good idea. It would make the cops police each other.
This is not helping their brothers in blue.
Are the slats vibrating or is the wind whistling through the slates like a flute?
Will the cops trace the VIN to find the history of the car? What happens next in the investigation? Anyone?
