"It always makes sense in context and for the character. Sometimes in
life we are nude. Some people like to hang around their house wearing
few clothes. It's a non-issue."

I'd get it as a "fuck you" if this was new…
It's like someone in their 30's still dying their hair crazy colors. The fact that she gets nude on the show is old news, yet she keeps doing it as if it's still fresh. She's beating a dead horse. Another comment summed it up pretty well I think : "I think the show has

I'm plenty loose man! I just find it cringe worthy and embarrassingly low brow. This show used to be rather clever in it's writing… now it needs to be taken behind the barn and shot.

Exactly. She just beating a dead horse for cheap "shock".

Well said, "crutch" is the perfect way to describe it.

I know, I've traveled quite a bit and find the casual attitude towards nudity in commercials and elsewhere to be refreshing. That doesn't change my perception that Dunhamn is just STARVED for attention and since her show has gone down the toilet comedy and plot wise, she falls back on her "brave" nudity of the early

"The whole joke is that she was pulling down the shirt to cover herself
which resulted in her top coming down far enough that she was uncovered.
She wasn't taunting him with her breast"

I have absolutely no problem with nudity. I am no typical American prude and nothing about it is 'dirty' or 'immoral' to me. My problem is just with her insistence on it as a ploy for attention on a show that is just abysmal to watch at this point. It'd make perfect sense to show say, her and another character having

Hahah it sure is!

I think white is being used here as a synonym for lame, vanilla crap with no edge or wit.

I, for one, absolutely would. Just as I point out gratuitous nudity when it involves attractive people, like on Game of Thrones. It adds nothing to the show or characters and it's done for bottom of the barrel "shock". She was brave for doing it 5 years ago, now she is just terribly unfunny and her show sucks so this

This show is just so awful. I thought the first season was pretty fresh and funny, but then it all went downhill from there. I only see the new ones because my wife still likes to watch it despite saying she hates it out loud multiple times per episode.

It *is* Nolan's best film. No question about it.
