Same here. These files were created in Google Docs and were opened many times and edited. I went to read one a couple months later, it loaded and then the screen refreshed. I was sent back to Google Drive. That whole week of work is gone.

That’s what I was thinking. Becky inadvertently shows the whole family over Thanksgiving her new tattoo.
I had Google Drive completely eat a week’s worth of work documents earlier this year. There was not even an activity record for those items. I’ve been double thinking of how much faith I put in Google backups now.
When I was a little kid, I lived with my great aunt for awhile. I couldn’t remember the address, but knew how to find it if I drove down the one road to get there. I then grew up a few hours away.
I learned at the African American museum in DC that all the natives of Hispanola were dead within 30-40 years of first context.
I know some people that this has happened to too. Their names are Italian though.
I think all hope is gone the Blue Wave doesn’t happen in November.
I feel gross that I had any sympathy for Graham in losing his best friend.
Same. We're toast if we don't wipe the floor next month
I keep thinking of all the people who decided Hillary was safe so they voted third party or stayed home. The darkest timeline began when Bowie died (1/1/16)and was confirmed with Carrie Fisher’s death (12/26/2016). We need to start over.
Different type of service.
A digital list somewhere is great if you’re bargain buying a big series as you find titles. I’ve bought the same book four times because I keep forgetting I have that one.
I left Goodreads because I wanted privacy (after reading about an author whose snarky comments on books he’d read were noticed). But I don’t like the LibraryThing interface much. Hmm
Told to me by a co-worker:
This is beautifully written.
Yeah, FB makes reunions less appealing. For our 10th, it was attempted to rent out a place, be fancy, etc. In the end, no one’s friends went, so people dropped out. From the photos I saw, they met up in a bar and played pool for our 10th reunion.
I only listened for awhile. I’ve known little kids who've been caught red-handed who are calmer and can lie more convincingly. Hell, I don't trust myself to not get caught lying and I'm 100% sure I'd be way more convincing.
I read it at work and kept gasping aloud. I've never been assaulted either, but I think of my friend suddenly bursting into tears during a sleepover. We were laughing one moment and then the next she had a flashback and just...
Boring reply.
You guys are making me miss the heyday of LJ.
