Yeah, she is full of hot shit if she says she wears a 6-8. I’m the same shape and weight as her, maybe a couple inches shorter, and I wear a 10 on a good day.

I don’t know why Glamour thinks they have to put labels on any of these women.

He thinks it’s funny for a straight man to wear a dress and a wig, to speak like a drunk baby, and to jump up and down with a limp wrist after seeing a friend.

After encountering Berniebros, I’ve been mulling that over too. On many issues Clinton and Sanders are similar (I’ve heard there is greater than 80% agreement on concrete issues), so a lot of people are probably making their decisions on feelings for the candidate, public speaking style... That leaves a lot of room

Everyone seems to think that saying “I’m voting for Clinton because she’s a woman” really means “I’m *only* voting for Clinton because she’s a woman, and I obviously just haven’t *researched* enough and only vote on genitalia”

I have not yet encountered this argument - that women are being obligated vocally by other women to vote for Hilary by dint of gender - in the wild. What I have encountered, ad nauseam, is the argument (well-stated in the piece) assuming that any woman who supports HRC is doing so solely because she is a woman - as

I’m supporting Clinton because I think she’ll be a better general election candidate than Sanders and I think she’ll be a better president too. However I am also supporting her because she’s a woman. And everytime I see any sort of criticism of that line of thinking it just reinforces my belief that we have to

“A few weeks ago, a man emailed me to “congratulate” me for “overcoming my gender” and voting for Bernie Sanders.”

Unpopular opinion: She lost a pregnancy, not a child.

It’s called an opinion and that’s mine. Do what you want.

Or let's stop acting like you have to mourn just because you took a pregnancy test. If you have a late period and don't take a test, you don't mourn. Do people just every let things come and go anymore?

I think we can do both.

I went in prepared to hate it but you know what, I don’t.

i thought she came off refreshingly solid, honest, and down to earth.

I swear I’m not trying to become “throw cold water on Jez posts” person. I love the site, I agree with damn near all of it. But “Fox News” is NOT the same as “Evening news on local Fox affiliate.”

not to be that asshole, but a local fox news station (fox 5) is not the same as “fox news”... just saying.

Fox 5 is local NYC news, not Fox News. They’re not quite the same...

I keep seeing attempts to characterize the word “thug” as always being racist coded language—but it’s not. Sure, it CAN absolutely be racist coded language, but by no means is that the standard definition of that word (i.e., I don’t hear the word “thug” and automatically flag it as a racial epithet). Clearly the Mayor

I feel a bit of sympathy for her. She’s stuck having to assuage a lot of stakeholders. Also skinfolk, kinfolk, etc.
