Yes it’s a real asshole move that he is able to pick the projects he wants to be a part of.

So you’re basically saying that he’s a human being with problems and not a mythological deity of some sort? Huh...
Welp! I am going to tell these folks what they tell us unarmed black men...”if you don’t wanna get fucked up listen to authority no matter how wrong, angry, un-trained, and stupid they are.” Yeah it sounds just as stupid when they tell us to do that with the Police.
Ugh....please, please, don’t start.
Still holding out hope that they are Kool Moe Dee fans!
I know, right? Crazy honky bitches!
This is where my black ass gets to spend Christmas with my white in laws. Pass the bottle.
Also, who doesn’t love the idea of liquored up NFL fans (because that’s what off duty cops are, just fans, nothing more) packing heat inside stadiums? That’s the real idiocy here - they believe that, because they are cops, they are somehow more trustworthy with a firearm and booze than anyone else.
Lol. Yeah sounds like a great idea. 1000+ people have been killed by police this year. Americans killed by ISIS in the US is 0.

Didn’t women in Iceland (or maybe another nordic country) go on strike demanding equality in the 60s? Didn’t they essentially get it? Is this that far removed from that idea? If we’re trying to end sexual assault, I like the idea of trying every non-violent method in the toolbag that’s available.
While I agree that rape and sex are fundamentally different, the whole “rape is always about power and control, and never about sexual desire” thing that has been accepted as a truism really goes too far.
I actually do think that Lee is talking about issues of power and not sex here. Women denying sex is a form of talking control, albeit probably not very effective for really instituting change. The idea he is proposing is rather nonsensical, but I like the general thought that women have more potential power in terms…
There very well be mental illness at play here. But mental illness doesn’t equal violence. Plus, as Obama noted a few years ago, the US doesn’t have a monopoly on mental illness. We sadly aren’t even the only country with widespread white male privilege and national political figures who spew out hateful rhetoric that…
