I’ve wondered myself why these crimes and individuals are given such light sentences. I guess this response or disbelief that it does not happen is about 10-15% of the problem.

i don’t think it’s a question of whether violence works or doesn’t work absolutely. I think it’s more along the lines of fixing a problem before that tool has to be pulled out of the box.
