Disappointing.

Are there some byzantine rights issues with Celine and Julie or something? How much longer will we be frustrated by the inability to see what many consider one of the cornerstones of world cinema?

Whatyoutalkinbout, Whovian?

Onto the watchlist it goes!

Aye, it is.

What a coincidence. I just listened to Wilco (The Album) and wouldn't dream of parting with it. I remember when they debuted "Wilco (The Song)" on The Colbert Report. Good times, man. (On deck: The Whole Love.)

"How did this get here?": The A.V. Club Documentary Now! For Our Consideration that got posted way too early

I've spent the past few days trolling through a trilogy of British horror films produced by Richard Gordon. First up was 1965's Curse of the Voodoo, which is like the voodoo segment of Dr. Terror's House of Horrors — by far the weakest part of that film — stretched out to feature length. And Sharktopus was a lot of fun, so I'll continue to hold out hope.

"Andromeda" by Zombi. It's a brief instrumental, just 2:12 long, and it seems like it's mostly there to be a breather between the heavier, more propulsive tracks on their Relapse debut Cosmos, but there's something about the mournful synth sound Steve Moore came up with that gets to me.

Nice cover.

It is his most prominent feature.

I've never subjected myself to any of these movies, but I have watched 1997's Pocket Ninjas for my sins. The main villain in it is played by Robert Z'Dar. Enough said.

They haven't come anywhere near since I became a fan, though, and it's hard to rationalize traveling just to see a band play.

The one time The Residents came to town, I had a tech rehearsal that I couldn't get out of. That one still hurts.
