tbh I find this sort of Altima hate rather disgusting. Poor people need to get to work, and so much of Altima hate is just “ha, ha, POOR PEOPLE!” It’s especially galling that Regular Car Reviews realized this is what was happening with people making a big show of hating PT Cruisers, and then several years later doing…

Two words - depreciation curve. It’s probably worth what they’re asking, for what it is, right now. But add 10,000 miles, it’ll be worth half; add another 10,000, it’ll be worth, at best, $2,500. Get in a wreck and no insurance company will give you more than $3,000, so it’ll end up totaled.  ND.

Conversely, there’s a lot of new, shiny, lifted pickups in front of rusty single-wides.
