Is there even a such thing as a base model nowadays?
The entry level XL trim has power windows, power locks, cruise control, air conditioning, AM/FM, infotainment (android auto/carplay), push button start. What else do you really need?

Why go once a week when you can grab a few things at your corner store on your way home? Need more stuff? Have them deliver it to you! This is what people did before everyone had cars, even in rural areas. It was a lot easier for a grocer to have a truck or a couple of bikes and some teenagers and deliver the order to…
Usually it’s the case of going every few days and/or having a cart rather than stocking up all at once.
Yep. I’ve lived in Chicago for 47 years. Hope to add another 47+ and retire here. Of course the city has its problems, but I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I’ve spent a lot of time in small towns (mostly family visits in Indiana and South Dakota)... And I’ve always really enjoyed the change of pace, the scenery,…
‘don’t want to live in any of the densely populated and very walkable cities because they’re run like shit and the crime rates are high.’
Everyone’s ignoring the obvious host solution. The same ideal host for the Academy Awards.
The 318 is to this day the worst car I’ve ever driven. It’s not just slow, it’s absurdly slow. It’s dangerously slow.
ALL DRIVERS from EVERY STATE have been getting noticeably worse in the last few years. People are driving faster, more erratically, less turn signals, keeping smaller distances between the cars in front of them, hogging the left lane, staying in the right lane at on ramps, weaving between lanes, can’t stay in their…
You should always drive in the right line, regardless of speed. You only move left when there is slower traffic ahead and it's safe to move left.
I’m over driving absurdly fast. I’m glad that I got it out of my system when I was younger and lived to tell the tale. Doing 160mph sounds downright terrifying to me today, especially on a public road.
I’ve always hated the look of the 2 series. It always looked like a clown car to me. Hood is way to long and everything else is squished. I expect a giant bobble head to pop out of the sunroof.
The Miata works because of literally every little detail about it, exactly the way it is now. It doesn’t need to be a foot longer and a couple hundred pounds heavier. Changing it in that way would ruin what it is.
Not really weird, more like really well thought out: the volume knob in my CX-5 is on the center console, precisely within reach exactly where I rest my arm. Perfect.
Most (if not all) BMWs have turn signal switches located on the stalk behind the steering wheel where someone could accidentally activate them while driving.
Anybody remember these?
You need to use the e-brake when you park on a hill. The park setting in an automatic transmission should not be used to hold your vehicle on a steep slope.
Sounds like you’re just looking for reasons to hate the Prius, because those issues you’re railing about are common (or were common) on many vehicles, not just the Prius.
Glad the driver is alive and though it’s crazy just to see it, it’s the trailing dust plume that makes this looks comically crazier to me. It’s almost Thelma and Louise-ish.
I like that you can fold it flat for easy storage.
God these slide shows are still awful. When the stinger first came out there was a ton of hype and lots of interest. I rolled into my local kia dealer in my 2012 Jaguar XF that I had purchased new and was beautiful. They wouldn’t let me test drive a stinger unless we worked out numbers first. fuck that, you’re a kia…
