    Almost identical situation here.

    Or traffic.

Does it look better in person than in photos? Nearly all Hondas of the past of the past couple of decades look like butt in photos, but look better in real life. Not pretty, but passable. I don’t know why that is.

You’re right. I have issues. I’ll stop now too, before I start sounding like someone’s grouchy old uncle.

Oh, okay. A fad. Now I hate it even more, but at least it might eventually go out of style.

It’s “Willis.” The willies are something entirely different.

Man, that’s cold. Bruh wanted a Z. It’s his money, not yours.

    Tiny, not fast, and fun?

    Too easy.

    Me:

You have a point. Ford GT does it also.

Dual exhausts where they are not necessary. The trend seemed to start in earnest with the S2000, and refuses to die. An inline four doesn’t need two fucking tailpipes.

They do it to make the arch look higher and the fat-ass beltline look lower.

Plus, you don’t have to worry as much about curbing the rims. After doing that to a couple of mine, I park too far away from curbs now.

Regulations on side impacts, too. Now everything has a sky-high belt line to protect it from getting T-boned by a heavy-ass, tall-ass SUV or bro pickup that never actually hauls anything.

When I was in high school in the early 70’s, when asked what kind of car he drove, a classmate of mine always recited “ a ‘66 Chevelle SS 396 with 427 heads, Holley four-barrel, Thrush dual exhausts, Muncie four-speed, and positraction.” He never referred to it as merely “a Chevelle SS” or anything less than that

FWD is not bad. Not everyone aspires to be a drifter.

And peace be with you, as well. I pray that $kaycog bless you with the gift of a  van, delivered by an angel of Devine feminine pulchritude.

God, I love this column. Thank you, Alex.

As the son of a United Methodist minister, and at least somewhat knowledgeable of things both biblical and automotive, I humbly bestow upon thee my vote for COTD.
