When I was a kid, I would be standing at the exit of the gate waiting for dad to come back from a business trip. We just went directly to the gate and mom had to keep me from running onto the plane to find dad (to tell him my side of things before she could).

We have them in my state, plows just adjust their blade height to accommodate them or plow around them, or at least they’re supposed to. They’re in known locations and the county plows know how to work around them

Those have mostly been taken out of SoCal. San Diego had them in the late Aughts/early 10's. A traffic cam ticket was something like $400.  

The city got $40. The rest went to the private company operating the cameras. In Arizona.

Well the problem is these people DO have places to do stuff like this, more or less.  I am sure there are drag srtips and race tracks, of some sort, they could hold events at.  The problem is these people wont GO to these places to do these types of activities.  

They could go to Irwindale speedway and use the drag strip or drift box.
