I think everyone guessed it would be a remake/update/revisiting of “A Piece of the Action” at the time, which makes sense.

I didn’t think it was laugh out loud funny. I grew up very close to that area of Oklahoma and in a similar poverty level, so to me it more normal than humor.

I enjoyed the first ep enough that I was excited to see the second was available immediately on Hulu and watched it also. One of my favorite TV premiers in recent years.

You realize the information that you can currently access =/= what other people saw previously, right? It’s entirely absurd if you expect everybody is always operating on the full breadth of information available.

It feels like this is taking valuable space away from trying to destroy Gal Gadot. Or praising her for standing up for herself. Or trying to destroy her again. 

It’s not surprising to hear that this was blown off at The Root. One weird thing about this particular strain of cannibalistic cancel culture, wherein liberal-presenting celebrities in good public standing are torn down over silly things that happened forever ago, is that it’s totally driven by white liberals trying…

My biggest problem with this whole Matthew Perry deal is it distracts us from making fun of David Schwimmer.

There’s no revelation here. Her participation in the creepy pageant has been public knowledge for years. I knew about it when she was just Erin from the Office. 

To be fair, Tatiana used to write pieces for VICE, who was cofounded by Mr. Proud Boy himself. So I mean, using her logic, she’s super racist too. 

Ugh, “her racist past” is even in the headline. By that logic, any white person who went to a school, worked at a company, or joined an organization founded before 1960 has an identical “racist past,” because all of America’s past and a lot of its present is pretty racist.

The problem here is you’re expecting critical thinking from current AV Club, instead of outrage clickbait nonsense
