This feels like a best-case scenario, right? “Hey, I didn’t realize the harm I was causing, but now I do and I’m genuinely sorry. I’m hoping we can all learn from my mistake and do better because it’s important.”

I like that at CNN, the headline for DMX’s passing is above the passing of Prince Phillip. I’ll take a rapper who clawed his way up who struggled and became an artist who spoke truth and poetry, over a fucking royal who had everything handed to him.  DMX was given half as much time, but did so much more.  

While she still could get stuck in a bad movie, Waller-Bridge is just great definitely makes this more interesting. Even though I was severely disappointed by Crystal Skull, I’ll watch this movie no matter what.

I love her. And also John Williams is coming out of unofficial retirement to score it?  How can I be so excited to hear news about a project I don’t want to happen?

I’d happily watch a Kanye doc right up to and including Yeezy. His musical and personal journey to that point is pretty interesting. Not super interested in the half-assed music or descent into right-wing and fundamentalist Christian madness that came after that

I certainly don’t see porn stars of today as any kind of sexual threat and I enjoy their work. Why are you talking about it from this generalized perspective when it’s just yours?

i don’t get the hate for this movie. it’s an uncomfortable topic and i was dreading the ending...until we got to what turned out to be a glorious ending.  this movie is why spoiler culture is bad.
