+1 to this. I heard they’re making an AWD prius variant now as well. That actually makes a fairly compelling argument for them.
Can you imagine being Matt and seeing this. Like some article talking about some car from Vietnam and boom, close up of your face from 8 years ago.
They also do an electric scooter called the Klara.
I mean... I’ve seen worse from well established companies (lookin at you, Maserati).
I wish my life was so awesome that the biggest problem I had was whether or not other people were removing yellow plastic protective bits from their cars.
I saw an early 70s Ford Courier this weekend. I forgot how small trucks were.
Or we can have a vehicle like that that has modern technology and isn’t a complete death trap.
That’s what I could find in my area...
I’m incredibly confused by the cost....
Most of the builders I work with self impose those kinds of limits but the buyer ultimately gets to choose. Builders in this market already have a buyer before they've dug a hole in the ground.
That long hood is part of the ultra-aggressive design language that all pickup trucks use. That language is clearly working since it’s become more pronounced with each generation. If these EV truck startups make their designs too smooth and soft (“feminine”, I guess you could say), they might develop Ridgeline…
Umm ... did you not read the comment you replied to? The gas engine is a ‘range extender’. It is used solely to generate electricity. It does not provide any motive force to this vehicle. Maybe it’ll “drink gas like an alcoholic” but you won’t be hurting for horses or torques since those will be coming from the…
Cabovers aren’t popular since the driver’s legs become the crumple zone.
Cabover design leaves the driver feeling as vulnerable as the passengers in the car he’s tailgating.
My new neighborhood was decimated by a recent hailstorm, all roofs (all of them grey) need to be replaced. Someone replaced their’s with brown shingles - it looks great btw - and everyone lost their collective minds via the neighborhood FB page, most asking if anyone has contacted the HOA about it. God forbid there be…
No joke - I live in a townhouse and if I come up my street from the other direction I actually have to figure out which house is mine because they all blend together.
Not a new concept, really. I live in a neighborhood built primarily in the 1920s. A large percentage of the homes were built from catalog kits from Sears or other similar vendors (Craftsmen homes. Look it up). I can also go three houses down and find the exact same floorplan as my house. I do not, however, have an…
Neighborhoods are now built in single chunks by a single builder rather than over time with multiple builders. Most builders are going to build a single type of house since it just makes it easier.
I am a drama queen admittedly...
