That what “exactly” is a rat rod? To me it’s more about the style. leaving the patina, for example. And the style really comes out of an attitude of just a “I don’t care, it works, it’s fast, and it makes me happy.” getting all nit picky about classifying customized cars is just stupid anyway.

Nope rat rods are cool. Some people do it wrong, but when it’s right it’s bad ass.

There is always an exception to the rule. when I was working as a salesman I tried to be that. My sales manager however, didn’t so much.
