I kept my original 5 speed shift knob in my 99 Cobra after I installed a T-56 6 speed from an 03 Cobra, mostly because I was cheap and lazy. 2 observations: 1: People get confused when I'm in 6th gear on the highway because it looks like I'm in reverse all the time. 2: I have to draw out a diagram of the shift

People asked the same thing when mirrors first appeared on the scene. "What happens when someone comes up with a baseball bat and bashes my mirror in?".

Why does every single pro street vehicle have to be yellow?

This is a real Crown Vic and Caprice from the future.

Anyone remember the movie "Mission to Mars"? Gary Sinise drives an electric convertible VehiCross in the scene where we is arriving to the backyard party before launch. They even added an electric motor whine sound effect so there would be no mistake about what lies under the hood.

Looks like they took a hint from Samuel L Jackson!

I'm gonna say...a Fox-Coyote 5.0 to 5.0 swap. That is, a 420 HP DOHC 5.0 motor from a '11 up Mustang GT (Referred to as a Coyote motor) into an 87-93 Mustang (Referred to as a Fox body). Other similar swaps could include a Fox-RoadRunner 5.0 swap that uses the slightly more powerful 444 HP 5.0 from the Boss 302

Speak of the devil. Here's a picture of a V8 focus wagon. The stance on this thing is what really sticks out. Look at those fat wheels on the back! Here's a link to the rest of the gallery:

I'd say NP if the A/C worked.  At least it has the LS1 instead of its older counterpart.  But with any engine swap, the devil is in the details.  Anyone can just shoehorn a LS motor into something, but it takes attention to detail to make it worth the swap.

I agree. Ford found a great way to differentiate their vehicle from the other offerings. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first sedan that's been offered with AWD in a police package. If departments wanted AWD before, they had to buy a truck or SUV.

Sounds like a bureaucratic mess to me. The AWD system may need additional development to fit within the additional size constraints of a larger V8 and to handle the extra power. What boggles my mind is that the 300C is already available with AWD with both the V6 and V8 (except the SRT). Being that both cars are so

The WRX with the Tribeca facelift is far worse than the blobeye update. The Tribeca was one of the ugliest SUV's of all time and I can't believe Subaru allowed it to infect a perfectly good looking sports car.

I don't think Hyundai will mind...They've already put that model out to pasture.

When Acura refreshed the TL in 2009, it was by far the most disgusting update I've ever seen. Who's bright idea was it to install a huge beak on the front end? I thought it would be abolished after only a year or two because it was so obviously ugly and overpowering. Much to my surprise, Acura decided to refresh

In the lower RPM, the new Ferrari F150 sounds just like an old '91 Ford F150 with a 300CI straight 6 and 0 mufflers. In the higher end of the RPM range, it doesn't sound quite as awful as a 6 cylinder piece of junk, but it's still one of the coarsest sounding V12 engines I've ever heard.

I always thought "Limited" was a stupid name for a car option. What's it supposed to mean? Rare? Premium? They couldn't figure out a better word to describe the trim package just barely higher than standard. The word "limited" is so counter intuitive. It it were interpreted by its literal meaning, one would

Heritage Ford in Orwigsburg PA had a brand new 99 Mustang Cobra for sale from July 1999 until December 2001. I don't know why it was on sale for so long. Granted, the 99's were a controversial car at the time for those of you familiar with Mustangs. But I can't believe someone didn't realize how rare this car

Here's another undercover NYC cab traffic stop except this time the cop car is an Altima!

Who here has seen that show DEA on Spike? (It may have been a different show) One of the vehicles the cops use to bust drug dealers is an early 90's yellow F150 that may have been previously used in construction or as a plow truck which still had the yellow emergency light on the roof. But the truck was certainly
