Ever seen the movie "The Terminal"? They catch a guy smuggling coke in a bunch of walnuts.

Yea, it was stupid for him to have parked next to the access covers. He should have parked on top of them and cut a hole in the floor.

It looks like a picture of a half-dressed redneck is overlayed on top of the NYPD seal on that lady's right-hand monitor.

If you're faced with a situation where you are in a financial bind, the last thing you do is go out and buy a car. Hmm... Lose my job, buy a car?

This is a picture of a centrifugal supercharger. I didn't originally post a turbo. I posted a picture of a Procharger because this is what I have on my 99 Mustang Cobra.

I heard about laser spark plugs too. It would be cool if they are actually implemented, but for now, it's just vaporware. But even laser spark plugs could be obsolete before they come by further developing HCCI (Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition), eliminating spark plugs entirely.

Procharger. The rush of boost is addictive.

Wait, so let me get this straight. So, the fenders on one side are painted and the ones on the other side are matte?

Wow, that K-car has aged a lot better than Ed Rooney did.

I'm gonna have to agree with you that the DOHC 5.4 (or even the DOHC 4.6) is a beautiful engine. But it looks really beautiful with aftermarket cam covers short runner FI intake that looks like its carbureted.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea. But have you ever tried to tie a string around a rock though? It almost always slips out unless you tie it around more than once.

Case in point. People just don't have the willingness to pay. Most people already have a computer to browse the web, and some of them have smartphones, so a tablet is probably a third web browsing device. People don't need a tablet to browse the web or view media.

I think we've all learned a little lesson with the HP TouchPad. At first it was in a situation where it couldn't sell any units when it was priced the same as the iPad. When it was discounted, stores couldn't keep them on the shelves.

Bless that guy. He talks about the things he needs to do, like organize the scrap metal and call the guy that buys it from him. He's got plenty of time to do it!

OK, my last comment, I promise. I found this picture on someone's blog who likes to make fun of the Comic Sans on the cop cars as much as I do..

This guy got the last word....

I always got a kick out of this picture. Also, in Orlando, the Orange County Sheriff's Department has some of the words on their cars in Comic Sans and I always laugh when I see it.

Very interesting article about what goes on behind the scenes with the subway system. Being that most of it is on an island— below sea level, I'm not surprised about how much water they have to pump out of it.

The cable industry needs some more competition, just like the bloated behind music industry needed competition 15 years ago. Innovate or die.

Good point. Even though you might not subscribe to cable TV, they still have control because you have to get Internet through them.
