Yeah, I'm sure if we started eliminating places based on the ignorance of their youth, your beloved Fun City would be totally safe.

Mohicans Galore!

Independence Day 2: Canada Day…Wait, That's a Thing?

What are you laughing at, Moon?
Why don't you share it with the rest of the class, Moon?!?
The Moon laughs knowingly!
The Moon laughs!
The Moon!

The!

I remember that: it's from The Black Cauldron. I think Aadon was his friend's name. He was the son of Taliesin.

@avclub-a93a879594c13c12a83fd45ab289a022:disqus I think it was Ben (Allan's son, the kid in Tyrese's group) that got in the way. Allan's one of the other men in the scene too, so that might explain why Ben was there.

I was even worse. I taped Letterman and got up early the next morning to watch it, so I could repeat all the bits at school with the kids who stayed up late. I owed every tiny bit of social cred I had to Late Night.

My college roomates and I also saw this in the (otherwise empty) theater. I hope the other 7 theatrical viewers show up in this thread. We can have some kind of memorial service.

That's interesting, Fuzzy Pickles. I should have guessed that the big sports leagues already had some kind of online pay option. That might not be cheaper than standard cable if you're a die-hard fan of lots of sports, but many serious sports fans already pay extra for cable sports packages too, so maybe the online

That's a good point, stoopsmcoops. A lot of older folks probably wouldn't want to get rid of their TVs even if they knew how to find stuff online. I haven't been able to convince my parents to do it.

The thing is, you don't have to be tech savvy to do it. I'm not, but I ditched TV 3 years ago.We watch everything online or on DVD now, we only do it legally, and we spend far less money than we did on our cable bill.

How about "Gunless," a Canadian Western/comedy from 2010? It was released theatrically in Canada but only came out on DVD in the U.S. It's about a violent American gunfighter in a peaceful Canadian town, and it's pretty good.

It's definitely a flawed series, but one with some really exciting episodes and some great acting. Ultimately, it had a lot in common with Lost for me: it didn't live up to its potential and let me down in the end, but the first couple seasons are among my favorite seasons of any series ever.
