I've never seen that one, but I'll give anything with Rod Steiger a chance.

I always meant to see that. I remember being freaked out by the ad for it as a kid.

Good adaptations of Bradbury?

She spent years learning juvie fu.

I really liked him in  Tucker and Dale. And Invasion moved a little too slowly, but he was good in it.

ELLIS KNOWS ALL!

The TV season isn't official until Tyler Labine gets a new, soon-to-be-cancelled show.

Two words: Peter Scolari.

I think he'd be great, but I'm  crazy about Community too, so I'm not sure I have a good grasp of his level of celebrity. Maybe he's not famous enough?

@avclub-126537968bce5d6b572d63ee43c29e95:disqus re: Marie being Megan's mother, I don't see a problem. Julia Ormond is 18 years (well, 17 years and 11 months) older than Jessica Pare, and Megan is supposed to be only 26, so 3 or 4 years younger than Ms. Pare. So Marie could easily be old enough have a child who is 26,

I was happy to see that. An appropriate choice, too.

I guess my "DTtBiApt23" was a little too cumbersome.

In my experience, Canadian theaters are worse than American theaters. Sure, most Canadians are polite, but that's the problem: they're too polite to tell people to shut the fuck up. So the rarer asshole Canadians talk, and the polite Canadians sit there, trying not to make a scene.

Yeah, I don't understand why people older than me don't know that you don't talk during the movie. I'd be forgiving if they were ancient and going senile, but I've been seeing people in their 50s and 60s acting like they're at home in front of the TV. My wife and I went to see The Artist, and several of the old folks

It's as Ann as the nose on plain's face.

What's the deal with free rebroadcasting on the Internet in the US? In Canada, I can legally watch almost every show carried by a Canadian network on the network websites. 95% of those shows are really U.S. shows. They put them up the day after they air, usually the next morning. So I watch Fringe, Community, 30 Rock,

Glad to hear that a girl that age likes the show. If pop covers do draw younger viewers in, then I won't mind those songs as much (although less autotune would make me happier). I guess it's a bit like all the Subway product placement on Chuck: not ideal, but possibly necessary.

Well, I disagree that Letterman can't take any credit for anything good, but I agree that Markoe was a huge part of why Late Night was so great. Markoe and Letterman together were better than either of them apart. I think he needed her genius to focus his talent, and she needed his persona to demonstrate her genius.

I'd like to point out that the Marilyn brain trust just put the word "bomb" in the title of their Broadway show.

Frank was awesome. I hope they don't make us sit through weeks of episodes of Julia pining for Frank, not knowing where he is. I'd rather watch weeks of Frank, sitting around telling people how glad he is that he walked out on his horrible wife.
