Kidnapping is an element in the romance between Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland in "Adventures of Robin Hood" and "Captain Blood." And she briefly owns him as a slave in "Captain Blood" as well. What a couple of scamps they were.
Well, there probably aren't that many, but they are out there. Lisa Randall, for example, is a theoretical physicist at Harvard.
Canadian!
I remember reading that Michael Dorn and Marina Sirtis pushed the idea. They liked working together and thought Worf and Deanna would make a nice pair. The writers agreed.
Yeah, that relationship never got old for me. With most shows, when the will-they-or-won't-they crap goes on and on, you start to wonder what the hell is wrong with these people that they just can't say "I love you." On Farscape, we knew what was wrong with Aeryn: she'd been brainwashed by a militaristic society that…
This would be awesome if more than 1% of Oscar viewers knew who the fuck they were.
Oh, wow, I missed that one. Thanks!
If you're taking requests: Stephen Root! He's in everything, and he's awesome.
He was great on the West Wing. There's something about Sorkin's writing that really brings out the best in guys like Harmon and Rob Lowe. They both have this kind of reservedness (is that a word?) that doesn't always work in some roles but really fits Sorkin's style. (See also: Clark Gregg.)
Damn, that was great! I never saw that episode, but clearly that's the series they should have made. I would've watched that to death.
I forgot how great that theme was. I stopped watching the show in season 3, but a few times I flipped over to catch the opening credits, just to hear that song.
Theme from the TV show, "Rawhide." Thank you.
Ugh, yes. That Enterprise theme SUCKED.
yeah, Underdog and Go Go Gophers were great.
Thoses 70s and 80s themes that tell you what the show is about are awesome.
There were some very cool synth themes in the 80s, and the Equalizer was probably the best. Loved that song. Underrated show too.
Yeah, that Voyager theme is lovely. I wouldn't list it in my top 5 themes, but it's really nice and evocative.
Fuck yeah! "Streetbeater," by Quincy Jones is the Sanford and Son theme. Great song.
Yeah, Deanna calls him on that, pointing out that he learned to play cards to get in good with some senior officers, and Riker is all, "I happen to like poker!"
