You've made the right choice. I made it to season four, somehow, and I regret it.

Fire Walk With Me

So litigious that HBO Canada won't be airing it, despite having those 160 lawyers vet it. They even refused to air an episode of Real Time that had Lawrence Wright on to talk about it. Also you can't buy the book in Canada either. Apparently it's a lot easier to sue for libel in Canada.

That's part of why I enjoy Season 4 so much. Yeah, the whole Initiative thing was terrible, but it was by far the funniest season for me. I was definitely partial to Jane Espenson's comedic episodes by that point.

You're absolutely right about that. Except as much as I enjoyed the first three seasons of Angel, I liked it best once it rebooted completely under Joss.

I don't think she counts. As Wesley pointed out to him, "99.99% of the best relationships in the recorded history of the world have had to make do with acceptable happiness." So mostly Angel just settled.

The only person who any impact by leaving for Firefly was Tim Minear, who was reduced to "consulting producer" for season 4 of Angel. Otherwise there were only two writers that I recall who wrote single episodes of Firefly, but never actually left Buffy's staff.

They've got her locked up in their CST headquarters near Lake Arrowhead, apparently. She says she's there 'voluntarily', but there have been recent reports that they hired some private security firm to keep her under constant guard.

If you haven't already found it, I'd recommend reading Tony Ortega's Underground Bunker. He's always got former Scientologists showing up to offer their insight on the cult.

The book is essentially banned in both Canada and the UK, so I think adapting it was the right choice. It might not have the same impact as actually reading the book, but at least more people will have access to it in documentary form. Then again, I'm not certain if it'll be airing on HBO Canada, because I don't have
