Counter-counter-point, we’re talking about their export market, JDM is a whole different ballgame. They see the opportunity to increase their profit margins in the US if this issue gets any traction. That increase will come at a cost, our collective health.

Words are meaningless now.

I’d pick an LC vert over a Mercedes SL any day. I spent a week with this LC500 two years ago, and the car was simply amazing. The engine sound alone was worth the admission price, and the configurable dash was too cool.

I was embedded with the GM staff in the Chevrolet Performance group. A few of us were super excited seeing the EV tech.

car bad name

I was originally saving up for an N when my Rabbit died on me. Unfortunately they hadn’t hit showrooms yet and my raise was still a few months out. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Fiesta ST, but had my Rabbit held out for another 6 months I would have scooped up a Veloster N no question about it.

US consumers: haven’t had a meaningful raise in decades.

It is a bit surprising neither of them have touched this. Maybe demand just isn’t there ?

A company like Superformance or Factory Five needs to get on making Pantera kits. Modern Mustang drivetrain with power steering and good brakes would be just about perfect.

You should definitely give yourself a one star rating, to alert yourself of your shady business practices.

I’m my own mechanic, but I overcharge myself anyway, because I’m a jerk.

Hi Honda,

Had a 2000 XKR.  Really nice car in ways, but bored me to daily drive.  It’s very nice looking (to my eye at least), super comfortable, has all the features I’ve never had (I drive old manual everything sports cars typically), and the best stereo I’ve heard in a car.  But the automatic and quietness of it was just so

Don’t bother coming around, low-ballers.  This man knows what kinda kids he’s got.

I’m trying to imagine what it would be like if giant swaths of I-95 had no speed limit. Trying to imagine driving to work every day along roads where I gotta worry about a thrill-seeker wanting to open up his GT500 or AMG or Koenigsegg in the lane to my left.

Same...learned in an 85 Delta 88 land barge. Next vehicle was a third gen Camaro.  Couple vehicles after was a 1/2 ton, extended cab pickup. Pretty sure the C8 would be a breeze...

Right? I’m 6'4". My head touches the roof in ever car. Visibility of the road is a problem for short people. Yes, this is me looking down at them, figuratively and literally.

No worries, the average Corvette buyer’s cataracts make the GM visibility problem moot.

This is good shit for sure but imagine if GM didn’t have health care costs to use as a bargaining chip in the first fuckin place.
