Tyson's trailer has a flaw. At 1:15 he says Hermes departs from low earth orbit. With the poor thrust of an ion engine, it would take more than a month to spiral out of earth's gravity well. Most of that slow spiral would be through the intense radiation of the Van Allen Belts, not good for passengers.
