Me too, in fact, this summer the wife and I are on a road trip to Florida and want to stop in Laurel to check out their downtown area, shops, etc.
That being said, I like the Renovating Galveston folks the best. Having lived in Galveston for a few years, I know folks there that know Ashley and Michael personally and

I used to find Erin annoying but she and the show won me over. It’s possible that she toned something down, but it’s more likely that she consistently comes across as genuine, pleasant, and enthusiastic about their small town, their clients, and her husband.  I fully agree with the commenter who mentioned each one

My husband and I just binged all of it where as most home improvement shows I can watch maybe a half a season and then I need a break.  Among the reasons I like them is that they seem to really enjoy eachothers company, and are always talking up the other one.  Plus they are both a little silly and some of the things

He’s a big sweaty beast and he doesn’t play the goofball like Chip does.  I too feel like Erin designs the homes for the owners, and I like the little watercolors she does too.  They just feel more genuine.

I never could get into Fixer Upper, but Home Town has been way better. The houses themselves come out looking way more varied and they do a far better job giving their clients what they want, while still giving unique touches as well. Probably a good amount of it is staged, but I feel that they are a far better couple

So do all sane people, hopefully. They’re probably just as fake but they hide it a lot better (and the houses haven’t started pushing 700k+ yet, generally, which is when reno shows get fucking boring).

i’ve figured it out! since we are dying too “slowly” from his mismanagement of the pandemic, and he failed to freeze us all to death a couple weeks ago, he’s taking drastic measures to make damn sure none of us will be around to vote him out come november 2022.

Can you call being sent to a militaristic reform school being “emotionally supportive”, though?

Oh. Hello, fellow Texan! Re that district judge: I’ll be disappointed if I find out Clay Jenkins is also a piece of shit b/c he is the only seemingly sane elected official from this state when it comes to COVID we’ve seen during the last year.

He’s definitely worried about getting jumped lol.

A PUBLIC UTILITY that you have to PAY FOR is a “hand out” now... 🤔

However, this time he violated GEORGIA state law, which means he cannot pardon himself from prosecution.  (Not sure if he can actually pardon himself from Federal prosecution, but...)

Get used to disappointment.

I’ll submit that Georgia should open state charges against Trump, rather than or in tandem with impeachment.

Eight Pennsylvania GOP representatives: “We will vote against confirming the votes for Biden because of massive voting irregularities in our state!”

Still, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer etc. should be screaming from the rooftops over this AND tying it to the relief clusterfuck ahead of tomorrow’s GA. runoff.

Yes. I don’t give a shit what it means for Trump. There will be no consequences for him. But, make the cowardly RINO motherfuckers go on record as accomplices of Trump’s criminality again. Expose Susan “deeply concerned” Collins and Pat “completely unacceptable” Toomey as the feckless facilitators of Trump’s impunity

It’s for sure impeachable conduct, almost surely illegal, and absolutely nothing will happen, at least not in the next couple weeks.

Do they need to know? Like, really? If they’re just going to FEELINGSBOMB all over you about it, they might not need to know. It’s perfectly alright to provide them on an information diet, and if they ask about work, say something noncommittal and change the subject.

Pence NEVER respected the time allotted to him. He kept talking on and on and ON. I was listening in my car this morning, screaming MAKE HIM SHUT UP!
