Oh, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I’ve been out of journalism for a few years, but the nature of this reporting is so unbelievably biased.
I’m totally baffled at the complete disregard for the fact that she was abusive as well.
They had a very, very toxic relationship, one they are BOTH responsible for.
I have to ask... Where were the articles about Amber Heard’s abuse? Her text messages confirming she abused him, the depositions of Depp’s former partners who all stated he never hit them.
Where is this video of him laying his hands on her? Ive followed these allegations closely and have not seen this. Ive seen it brought up repeatedly and I get linked to the TMZ video. However one views breaking objects and slamming cabinets, there is no physical violence between them.
I’m not excusing his behaviour, I think he’s violent, I’m just acknowledging that there’s a real possibility of her own abuse, and honestly, I might strike back as well if I was in that situation.
this just seemed like an equally abusive duo, with probably a lot of substances fuelling the abuse (and this isn’t demonizing substance abuse, I understand all too well their power over your actions however). The narrative needs to recognize that both parties seem to have a lot of evidence stacked against each other,…
Thank you! This has been corrected.
“and take the nice nurses, respitory therapists, doctors and hospital workers with you?!”
My condolences on the loss of your family member. I hope the other family member remembers saying “when it’s my time...” in a few week when s/he is being told by the nurse that they’re about to shove a tube down his/her throat and medically induce a coma,
I love the whole “when its my time its my time” mantra when everything is fine, but as things get worse and their life is ending, it’s “I want more time, I want more time” Thoughts and prayers....right?
“One family member even said “when its my time its my time” knowing DAMN WELL what this person’s last weeks of life were like.”
As often, I thought the Daily did a great job in giving context to the utter failure at Texas. What was really shocking, even if it perhaps shouldn’t have been, was how central the conflict between the red state government and the blue city leadership was in this. Especially because the state leadership felt they…
It’s not an “Oops”. This is what we knew would happen if they reopened too soon and without proper procedures.
In my experience you don’t hand your card over to people at Starbucks anymore (including Target locations) you swipe it yourself. So that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense either unless he was dancing around and flashing his card in their face.
How do you know that she was referring to reparations "worldwide" and not the specific movement for reparations for Black Americans--led by #ados--here in the United States? Juneteenth is a Black AMERICAN holiday, not a Pan-African holiday.
Great podcast on “Revisionist History” concerning that.
Yeah I felt the same way. I was expecting some silly escapism and that’s what I got! Also I kind of want Issa’s unicorn garb lol
“should self quarantine for 14 days if they have any compassion for others”
I think we’ve all pretty much already figured out that “compassion for others” is not a thing these people are interested in.
