so - a few years ago — I learned a guy that I thought I was just good friends with in school thought we were dating. So — I didn’t go to my best friend’s wedding (her first marriage) when I was 21. I ended up flying to California to see my boyfriend (future husband\ex-husband) and she wouldn’t talk to me for almost 7 years. She even hung up the phone on me when I reached out to her after a few years had passed.
