Supply and demand in the rental market, at least in the north east, is squarely on the demand side since the real estate crash in 2008. The demand for rentals has lead to huge rental increases.

LOL, I had that Pugeot transmission in my ‘87 Wrangler. It sucked ass, basically i stripped the gears after a weekend in light mud and sand. that transmission was a bad piece of engineering.
