fan: dang that home run was pretty sweet! can’t wait to see what happens next at bat. that batter is hot right now, maybe he’ll hit another. or maybe the pitcher will be pissed and strike him out. a real chess match here.

lol none of those lead to a player having free rein to assault someone with a 90 mph projectile

it’s because it’s the only sport where the defense has the ball.

always wondered why a pitcher gets to scream and pump his fist after a strikeout to end an inning, but a hitter can’t celebrate hitting a ball 400ft?

it could just as easily be argued that posting jokes on twitter is about creating a public comedic persona that can be monetized through acting, stand-up, and writing gigs.

more people switched from hillary to romney in 2008 than bernie to trump in 2016.

fuck this bs.

he has a m4a bill. you can go read it.

imagine living through 2016 (which was an utter rejection of the do-nothing establishment of both parties) and then watch as bernie’s policies become the foundation for pretty much every dem candidate in 2019 and still think bernie doesn’t have a chance.

half-and-half scarves are generally viewed as kitschy bullshit. scarves are for supporters. you most likely would just get a good ribbing, but walking into the wrong bar or the wrong crowd and i could see something like this happening.

half-and-half scarf? in england? that’s on them.

i’m not belittling you. i just disagree agree with the take. i actually don’t like the fighting either, but fighting isn’t the reason people don’t watch hockey. hockey is the reason people don’t watch hockey.

no they don’t. what sport do they stop a play because someone gets hurt? it is literally always during the break in play.

let’s be honest, you still wouldn’t watch it anyway.

Marion, Kidd, and Chandler anchored the NBA’s eighth-best defense that season, and their formula was to smother and disrupt their opponents”

great article.

because it would actually redirect the ball out of bounds, while in the play above the ball was directed out of bounds by the defender. common sense is your friend.

the alternative is not overturning a call that 1000/1000 is tech’s ball throughout the game. why are we are all adult enough to understand the spirit of the rule for 38 min of game, but then want the rules and game officiated entirely different in the last two minutes? my suggestion is let’s have a little common sense.

what’s the point of replay if you’re going to overturn obvious, correct calls? throughout the game that is 100/100 texas tech’s ball. whatever the letter of the rule is it was not designed to stand up to slo-mo, frame-by-frame analysis. everyone who has ever played the game ever says that is tech’s ball. we are just

no. she is a terrible human. please do not justify her exit in this way.
