Colleges actually having to cover the costs of these students (kids) athletic endeavors — all in the name of the school remember. The NCAA already has a Catastrophic Injury Insurance Program and obviously the benefits program would have to be expanded, but it would still be a drop in the bucket…

Or just pay the players as student-employees for the hours they put in to their sports. It’s really not that hard. I made $9/hr serving food. The players could get $13/hr during sanctioned lifting, film study, practice, games, travel, etc.
