Famous dirtbag continues to be a dirtbag, got it.

aah the church scene was one of the finer bits of chaotic violence ive come across.... (big shit eating grin on my face first time i saw it)

The original was a great movie, and anybody who didn’t enjoy it is probably the type of person who thinks that pear halves make a good dessert.

Hey, Internet. Whoa, we are totally fucked, huh? All right! Welp, see you later

I watched the video and I don’t see dick.

Trying so hard not to masturbate to this... O.o

Is there a pic of this dick? Something tells me this might be a Rorschach situation and she saw what she wanted to see.

Yes, the case where a child had a curable issue and had his life saved due to having access to healthcare is exactly the same as a baby with an incurable chronic disease that would only lead to death. Exactly the same.

In response to your examples of drug prices. The astronomical prices for drugs is a result of our current for-profit healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. They are not some “universal price” that is unchangeable. Those prices are a result of specific policy decisions. Those prices reflect the high administrative

You are human tennis elbow. You are a pizza burn on the roof of the world’s mouth.

Here’s what it comes down to: is health care a right or not?

You wrote “rationally” when you actually meant “like a sociopath.”

I get really frustrated with seeing commentary that Snyder improved this by making it something more grounded. I absolutely get there’s no way to do Moore’s ending in a 2-hour film, but I have a great disdain for the idea that Moore’s ending was outlandish or stupid and that Snyder’s was an improvement for “grounding”

Trump will sign this bill if it is placed in front of him. Trump will sign any piece of paper put in front of him. Trump likes proving he can sign his name.

At present, the entire argument for the Graham-Cassidy bill is that if they don’t ram it down our throat in the next ten days, they can’t force it down our throat.

I think you are supposed to like Rorschach but then feel increasingly uncomfortable when he takes things way too far (which is basically all the time) yet then feel sorrow when he dies actually standing up for what’s right. That’s the beauty of Watchmen, it’s not simple and certainly not black and white.

What is admirable about Rorschach is how he keeps trying to do good, even though he is too twisted and broken to understand what that means. He is fascinating and tragic, not likable.

Blaagh, Prometheus! It looks so good! Why isn’t it written better?!?

What, you’re saying that Dan and Laurie kicking the shit out of the goons in the alley fight to the point that broken bones come sticking out of arms wasn’t a clever way to get to the real heart of Moore’s story?

I’m cautiously optimistic. Watchmen is far better suited to a TV series format; you can’t possibly fit all in the space of an average movie. Mind you, the Snyder adaptation had other problems: most of them can be filed under “The Book, Missing the Point of”.
