Yes yes James Cameron wrote Avatar. But he also wrote Aliens and Terminator 2. Is Avatar’s story even bad? Simple yes. But i don’t think it’s any worse than most big budget movies right now.

As much as i like Adam Wingard, this would have been amazing if it was directed by David Fincher. Imagine the dialogue from Aaron Sorkin, the violence from Seven, the mind games from Gone Girl. And he did well with a remake of Dragon Tattoo as well. Park Chan Wook would have been another great choice.

That’s clearly for max settings and 4K resolution. It’s a PS4/XBOX ONE port after all. Even my GTX 1050Ti should be able to run it.
