@drmaybe: I have to agree. Sparticus takes a little while to get into, but once you're on the ride its one of the best things out there. cheese-tastic!

I'd be really really depressed by this show (can't believe i made it through the whole first episode) but luckily i live in a world that has Misfits. Someday american tv will get it right... i hope.

@zslane: If you want purity in story then don't ask for ANYTHING to ever be adapted to another media. Seriously, there is NO WAY to adapt something and keep it true to the source. At best you can keep it true to the "spirit" of the original, and since everyone disagrees on what that means, that doesn't really work

@ronsavoy: Yes, which is why you're allowed to have a lawyer there with you. It even the odds a bit.

@krypterband: You're definitely not the only fan... hell, lots of fans i talk to hate origin stories. Its the non-fan people and the executives who seem to universally love them.

@saneums: I think you nailed it with your description... "blurry" being the key word. Their tech wasn't good enough, and for Tron they compensated with the blurry, shadowed effect. If they'd done that for flash-back Flynn i think it would have worked much better. With CLU... i don't know, maybe keep him in the

@samarkand: oh... what a wonderful idea. Mind if i steal the hell out of it for my girlfriend? She's a HUGE DT/Ten fan and i think she'll love the concept...

@evility: That's awesome! I've personally loved all the meta/fan episodes and thought the portrayals of fans were lovely... extremist, to be sure, but spot on with every con or other fan event i've ever been to. (i'm totally an american version of Fritz!)

@RenRen: Dude, calm the hell down. You started this whole thing with a very antagonistic vibe which you've carried through each of your responses... if you're "just curious" then while all the venom? Also, it's the flu, and, as far as i understand it, they're never sure that the vaccine will even be for "this"

@ringer81: eep, and i've always credited Terry Pratchett! Must do more research before spouting off!

@DasStan: you're on io9 and bashing someone for their fandom obsession? Seriously? Which cliche do you favor, glass houses or "those without sin..."? Don't get me wrong, i dislike Twilight as much as the next aging vampire fan-boy, but the lady can do as she likes, and the tat work is actually pretty sweet from a

@evility: Did you get it before or after the (first) meta-episode?

@ginnymcqueen: Well said! Seriously, the lady can do as she likes, and if this is her idea of a reward for her AWESOME level of work then more power to her!

@TheGreat&PowerfulTurtle: Not to mention they didn't just use it for CLU... i can hand-wave CLU looking un-real, but flash-back Flynn? Not so much.

@Xyberfaust: Spoken like someone who doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. Well done!

oh wow, i got it. I've NEVER been able to see the magic eye stuff, and a lot of optical illusions don't work (or work oddly) for me... i have some vision issues, obviously. But after a few minutes of alternately crossing and relaxing my eyes i got them to overlap and it was the coolest thing ever. The blue turning

@outuendo: comic books are media, not genre or series. Doing a list for comic books would be like doing a list for movies, or music... a little to broad of a category methinks.

@Briareosdx: excellent insight to both Dread and DC's Bond. I hope the filmmakers have half as good a read on the character as you do.

@sollipse: I totally agree, the inability to describe the horror, and the blending with the real word, are amazing. In a different way this is also one of the reasons i will always love the original Dracula... the style is dry but the epistolary technique always makes it feel very real to me.
