There’s another very serious exploit that affects EVERY VERSION OF iOS EVER, no matter how long their passcode, with or without TouchID, Siri enabled/disabled/etc. You can get access to all their photos, contacts, text messages, possibly even emails.
I think you’re missing that when people say “the Earth”, they may mean any of several different things.
