Looked to me like he could have kept going faster; anyone know why he stopped?

ew. hadn't seen this before.

The European super sport sedans are purposely designed with understated looks and elegance, with *just* enough muscle tacked on to the body to separate them from their plebeian counterparts.

When I first saw this and read the headline, I thought it would use an actual driveshaft to move the rear wheels from power originating in the engine bay. That would have been cool.

haha - many of us husbands know that joke unfortunately..

There's a pervy joke opportunity in here somewhere.

If you watch the vid, the hero dude alludes to his friend who was with him and also spread his arms out to try to take control/defuse the situation. So that must be his friend.

Hodor.

I'm impressed with how the M6 stood up to the beating. It sounds very solid as each blow thunks off the body with just a modest dent to show for it. This was likely very unsatisfying overall for the unhappy businessman.

Just wait until those Li-ons start catching fire. Tesla-gate.

Well, no - all I said is I like how it sounds - not that I want it to drive by my house at WOT in the middle of the night.

I love the e39 as much as the next guy - but it's old and outdated now. If we're going to reach into history and sacrifice modern amenities/electronics, the e28 M5 >>> e39.

Computer generated sounds is way overblown. The outgoing E60 M5 (I have one) is not a better car. It's a car that wants to kill you. It's hellacious fun, probably more "jalop", but way less livable as an "executive transport".

60-130.

Rather not bring your nipples in to this, but zomg that thing is gorgeous.

NO U!

I think the S8 sounds pretty damn hot actually. Haters gonna hate.
