Well actually, most available evidence shows that runners tend to have a lower incidence of knee arthritis than the general population. This might not be because of running per se but because runners tend to have lower body masses, though even when controlling for this runners tend to be healthier. I’m not as well

Buying your first pair from the saleperson is the right thing to do, but there’s no reason you can’t stock up on backup pairs when amazon (or whoever) has them on sale.
That’s also the sign that you’re becoming a “serious” runner, you are buying backup pairs of shoes.

I prefer SmartWool socks (you can get three pairs for like $12 at Costo, and they’re great for regular wear too!), but yes, this is great advice. During long runs, wet runs, or runs in humidity, cotton socks will get gross and begin to chafe.

No, this is really good advice. If a salesperson works with you, analyzes your stride, provides you with a half-dozen options, goes back to check if it’s in a slightly bigger size or a different color and finds a shoe you like, going on to Amazon to save $15 is a dick move. Don’t be a dick.

You posting this video is perfect kinja.

For all intensive purposes, I think he’ll do just fine.

Sanchez is the perfect mentor for a young QB learning the ins and outs of 18 year olds.

U serious? Elway drafted Miller, Wolfe, M Jackson, Ray, Roby, Shaq and Sly just on defense since he took over the team. CJ and Harris were undrafted. He also drafted Brock so he built a team thru both the draft and free agency. Haters gonna hate

No dude. He does suck. His numbers are comparable to Brian Hoyer.

No, the CEO of a sport—one that has spent the better part of the last decade advertising its increasing inclusiveness—publicly endorsing the candidacy of a blatant sexist, racist and xenophobic demagogue is ridiculous.

Why? He represents a major national brand and has sided with a man who would undo freedom of religion in these united states, and then he follows that up with “I don’t know his policies, but I support them”? It’s not a valid criticism to call someone out for endorsing someone they don’t understand? And it’s not valid

How did this article come anywhere close to smear? This article didn’t twist anything France said...

I’m such a goddamn hypocrite that I can’t stop doing this very thing* even though I spend most of my workday perusing this site (and leaving comments).

I’ve tried this for years and it doesn’t seem to be going so well.

For Brady, it’s an immediate raise. He was set to earn $19 million over the next two seasons, but with his new signing bonus, he’ll now get $30 million over that same period.

On the one hand, Roddy obviously wasn’t the receiver he was from 2007-2012, so it’s totally understandable that Shanahan would give him less targets.

Eh, I get your point, but nobody said that about Bush in 2000. Remember, 9/11 hadn’t happened yet. The argument against him, at the time, was that he was an unqualified, unserious, culturally retrograde doofus running against the sitting Vice President.

Nope, he was actually trying to get Hillary to spread her insult out to more people to reduce its potency.
