I don't think they're willing to sit on the license for 2 years before making a game for it, though. I think we'll see EA MMA 2 come out next spring, and then Fight Night later in the year (since unlike all the other licensed sports, boxing and MMA don't really have an event that you need to line up your release date

That makes sense, but the problem is that there's no way they're gonna be able to get an MMA/UFC game out before the end of this year, and if they release the MMA game next year and the Fight Night game the year after, that would be 3 years between Fight Nights (last one was last year).

MLB: The Show is first party.

Marcus Fenix? Gears of War.

I'm super late to this conversation, but the Lady Gaga songs sold incredibly well. In fact, her pack was the highest selling Rock Band song pack of 2010. By alot.

I'm pretty sure, but not 100% positive.

The exclusivity deals (for MLB and NFL for that matter) only restrict third party games. If any first party studio wants to do a baseball game (for example, Microsoft bringing back High Heat, or Sony creating some NFL game), they can.

People like playing with this year's players. With this year's rosters. With the actual team that's going on the field right now. People that don't really care about sports gaming don't care about that.

I could see that being it, too.

The Wii is one of the two highest selling consoles of all time, so that's not exactly a fair comparison. This seems about on par with the 3DS launch, except that Sony doesn't really the first party studios that can put out "guaranteed by name" sellers like Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D. So they have to rely on

If the rumors are true and most of these levels were already released with the Hydra PC add-on, then it wouldn't be level-making either.

One to one doesn't mean no lag. It just means the movements are directly translated. It could take 10 seconds to do it, and it would still be 1 to 1.

I said I was kinda excited before. I'm really excited now. That works pretty much exactly how I expected it to.

I'm a little excited about this, not gonna lie.

Something tells me that because of the whole "book" thing, this may be different.

There's nothing in the Playstation Blog post about it being on Vita, and I would think they would have mentioned that there.

This one is actually Ellen Page. She did the voice and the mocap for this character.

Because whomever owns the Harry Potter video game license (Warner Bros Interactive, I think) doesn't feel like it?

Luckily, I never bought any (I think I may have downloaded one or two during the couple times I've been a PS Plus member). So I'm already starting from scratch.
