I'm actually heavily involved with Team USA Ball Hockey and have played hockey for over 25 years so I speak with some level of expertise on this....

That was one of the most painful things I've ever watched. I haven't felt that uncomfortable in a while. What an absolute train wreck.

Former scratch golfer here. I'm my amateur opinion to those asking here what the f**k is going on, the answer is two parts.

IT's less than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage where contact is legal and also, when the ball is in the air, both defender and receiver have equal rights to go get the ball.

As a Bruins fan, let's not forget too many men, Glen Wesley missing the open net, The Flyers collapse, and of course, the Montreal Screwjob..

Field hockey and ball hockey are two entirely different games that share one commonality: They are played with a stick and ball.

I'm not saying basketball isn't popular. I'm saying there are many other deserving sports that simply don't have the cash to compete with NBA but if given the chance, would provide great entertainment.

It's the least I can do on Wednesday.

Everyone in Canada, millions in the USA, and about half the male population of Middle and Northern Europe. Ball hockey is organized street hockey and at the international level its on steroids and cocaine. It is unbelievable how much these guys run and how fast the game is.

No. I just think variety is the spice of life. Not bribery.

You'd be surprised how popular these sports actually are. At the competitive levels, these games are played by truly athletic people with unbelievable skill. If you can put aside your skepticism and internet hatred for anonymous people who disagree with you, just find their respective governing bodies and watch…
